Hi,
Can the email signature influence the outcome of your campaign?
I’m setting up a “next lesson” automation for users of an application. With each step the user takes in their journey with the app, we will email them about their next lesson.
The hypothesis is that this will increase user engagement.
We need to decide what to put in the title of the sender of the messages. We had two options: “Support Team” or “Customer Success.”
We chose “Customer Success” because we believe it gives the perception that we are taking care of their journey alongside them.
Then I remembered another case where a client asked to use a beautiful signature with images, links, and a formatted layout — instead of plain text, which is a best practice for sending cold emails.
Surprisingly, the variation with the formatted signature performed very well. Take a look at the results:
So, remember: it’s always worth testing and avoiding strict rules. You might also be surprised by the results.
If you have questions regarding email deliverability and automation, comment below and I will reply.
Kind regards,
Fabrício
